“ definitely a place you should visit. we were welcomed warmly by the lovely staff. the ambience inside is gorgeous. the food was absolutely delicious and paired with a wonderful wine - amazing sushi! Recommending this place to anyone who can enjoy good food, nice ambiance and great wines. ”
“ Very nice atmosphere. Delicious fusion food options. Nice staff. Nice location. ”
“ The food was amazing and the staff was very cordial and kind. Really good drinks. Totally recommended! ”
“ The food was extremely good, not the typical sushi restaurant, it's another level. The decoration and ambiance is very tasteful, no environmental noise so you can have good conversations. Red house wine was also very nice. People friendly although a bit too slow with the service, maybe because there were only two of them. It was an invitation so prices are not known by me. ”
“ With the mix of Italian-American speakeasy decor and a Japanese sushi- leaning menu, it was hard to get a solid grasp of their vision. They have clearly worked hard at a quality decor, going for a wow factor, but it felt incongruent and forced. They position themselves as a gourmet, small-dish sharing experience but not all dishes are meeting the quality standards that need to go with that: some ingredients were overcooked, or poorly presented. The wait staff was keen and sweet, but clumsy and inexperienced (serving a fish-based courtesy dish to a client who had indicated they were vegetarian minutes earlier, saying there were no veggie courtesy amuse-bouches only to them bring one later; interrupting us mid-conversation every five minutes, and then disappearing completely: we had to work so hard to finally get their attention to pay the bill, only get them to drop them bill and disappear again, thus leaving us to chase their attention again). This despite the restaurant being practically empty and the wait staff just chatting together at the counter. All in all, a good experience, but perhaps not worth the prices they charge as it takes short of the expectations they raise with their decor and formula. Curious to see what direction they take. ”
“ Amazing place. Quality food and the best service existed here!!!! ”
“ Great food! It was not authentic Japanese food but the sushi rice was excellent. I would recommend the platter so you can try different sushi and sashimi. Tuna tataki was great! I would not bother to order the duck boa bun. It was half filled with a few pieces of duck and vegetables. And didn’t really taste nice. MUST TRY: yuzu mochi ice cream!! It was delicious!! ”
